When Violet left college and accepted a job with a well-known magazine it was only meant to be temporary. That had been years ago though and somewhere along the line, she had forgotten that her dreams used to fuel her. When Violet gets sent to a billionaire’s ranch though, for a photoshoot, she is finally given the time she needs to think about her life and the choices she has made.

She finds herself being forced to answer for her failed dreams, when the billionaire, John Harkly , suddenly takes an interest in her. They find themselves growing closer, as the week progresses and after one steamy night, Violet finds herself being torn away from the one person who cares whether or not she is smiling.

When her editor makes it clear that she is putting her job on the line, Violet finds herself having to choose between the man of her dreams and the job, which funds her reality, but what will she choose and will she be able to live with the decision?
