Callie had all but given up on men. She’d had one failed relationship after another and the last one had left her disillusioned with the idea of finding her one true love. Years ago her mother had told her that she would find someone and there would be that ‘spark’ and she’d know that person was the one for her. Maybe all the ‘sparks’ were gone and she’d never find her special someone. She’d resigned herself to concentrating on her work and her brothers, most of all Mark. He needed her the most.

Gabe was miserable and cranky, cranky all the time. The last year had been hard but the months ahead would be harder, especially if he couldn’t snap out of the funk he was in.
