Not to be a snob, but everything about humans is boring and tedious. That should have been my first clue something was different about James Bennett.
I'd spent too long already in the mortal realm. My senses were dulled; as was my desire to do anything but find our queen's long-lost heir. It had seemed so simple when I first volunteered for this quest.
