Dreams of Wonderland
Aspen Winters, Verity Inkwell

For years, I was told that Wonderland was just a dream. That all of the fantastic characters were just figments of my imagination.
But they never went away. When I was younger, I would have dreams on the anniversary of my first ‘adventure’ in Wonderland. Hatter, Cheshire, Rabbit, and Queen would visit me, playing games and just generally have fun with me on those nights.
Once I became a woman though, those dreams changed. All of the sudden, Cheshire was no longer just a cat, he was a sinfully attractive man with cat ears atop his head. The others changed as well, each becoming a more ‘adult’ version of what they had shown me before.
I thought I was losing my mind when the memories started distracting me during my waking hours. Especially when I saw a man who looked so familiar, at my family home.
Then he followed me down a rabbit hole.
