A Tale Twice Told

In A TALE TWICE TOLD, two great mid-length stories come together to form an enjoyable full- length novel. ‘The Alpha Factors’ starts with the intriguing tale of a wealthy young businessman who believes he is literally dying of boredom. With the help of a doctor friend, he enrolls in a program designed to force him out of his boring circle of comfort. The program, especially designed by the mysterious Beyond/Boredom Institute, consists of completing four exciting and dangerous challenges on land and at sea. The challenges are both funny, nerve-wracking, and life-threatening too. Norman Walker risks two hundred thousand dollars and more in his quest for happiness. But he has no idea how much the many characters he meets during his odyssey will change his life forever.
The second story, ‘The Rainbow Season,’ is a humorous and inspiring story of a genial architect who succumbs to the lure of drink at great personal cost. When a family priest manages to find a low-level job for Tim Ryan, it accidentally starts his recovery to heights he couldn’t have ever imagined. Along the way, he meets a new love and a boy prodigy who help Tim reach the pinnacle of success. The inspiring plot is fast-moving, enjoyable and contains many unexpected twists and turns.
