All my life I wanted to make music people would love and now that I have that all I want is to escape. The life of a famous pop star is not the life I imagined it would be, not when I have fans who take things way too far. After a close call I decide to take the summer off but in order to do so my manager insists I take my body guard. Shane is huge and menacing and also incredibly serious and standoffish. Not the kind of person who sounds like a fun time to be cooped up with in the middle of nowhere. But the more time we spend together the more things heat up, and soon I find myself wishing this summer escape didn't need to end.
