He is my Daughter: TRANSGENDER, REALISTIC, BRITISH
Alice Port

It is a complicated situation with no easy answers and it is made all the worse when Phillip's traditional father goads him into more masculine pursuits to make him into a man. Phillip tries his hand at football and rugby but nothing seems to work. He is more drawn to feminine activities like trying on makeup.
Phillip's mother, Anne though, is more supportive. She understands that her son is going through something that is difficult and wants the best for her child - even going to the extent of taking him to a psychiatrist to gain an insight into his condition.
So begins a complex dynamic at home with Phillip increasingly showing his feminine side - sometimes going by the name Justine - with the help of this mother, while Phillip's father showing his disgust at his new daughter. Eventually, something has to give and when it does will Phillip remain or will Justine stay?
