The Afterglow by Brandon Brehmer
Kinsley is young. Kinsley is homeless. Kinsley decides she will find a way out of the U.S. and to “The Afterglow”. The Afterglow is a company deep in the snowy mountains. It sells women to buyers who can do whatever they want to the women. It’s a risky move, but she is promised she will remain safe. She and her friend Chrissy become “For Sale” through the afterglow. The two of them are separated and Kinsley finds out she is the most valuable woman to ever go on the market at The Afterglow. A scary thought to be sold to a millionaire with no idea what their intentions are. Luckily Kinsley gets sold to Mr. Anders. He’s a billionaire who enjoys freeing women from these “Slave Sales”. Mr. Anders is a top-tiered billionaire murderer for hire. He’s part of an agency that takes down the worst possible people. He is big, strong, intelligent, wealthy, and interested in Kinsley. He gives her the choice to leave. She decides to stay and learn more about him. She’s intrigued by him saving her and by him making her just as wealthy. The Afterglow had one upside to it. Kinsley earned thirty percent of the money a buyer spends to secure her. Mr. Anders spent one hundred million for her. He makes that per hour. Together they begin on an action-packed journey. The bad guys don’t stop coming for them. The mystery only deepens. And the feelings they have between each other only strengthen. Neither one of them imagined how important The Afterglow is in their lives until something massive happens. It turns their worlds upside down. A fight that even Mr. Anders was not prepared for. Will love cause damage? Or will damage cause love? Can they survive what’s to come? Where will this journey take them? What else is “The Afterglow” hiding? An unexpected love story, that isn’t so much love as it is surviving. These two are opposites yet somehow the universe brings them together. Take a seat in “The Afterglow.”
