Brutal Beauty by Brendol James
Andrei

Of all my father’s bastards, he never imagined me a contender. I wasn’t the smartest. My ‘pretty boy’ antics annoyed him, and despite being the best with a gun, my physique leaned more model and less muscle. In the Russian bratva, might made right. Old man probably regretted that now. The bolognese I made of him alongside every sibling he thought worth more than me certainly felt like might to me.

Unfortunately, the same deals negotiated to put me on top stick me with a nerdy wall of muscle that seems more suited to be a wrestling butler than my second. Leif Jansson is an almost seven foot blond giant with a crooked nose and enough scars to map out the New York subway system.

I never imagined a giant awkward accountant could be so much fun! He blushes like a dream, and the idea of getting a rough man like him beneath me makes my teeth ache to leave a mark of my own.

Leif

Nobody in the room when Andrei Novikov proposed burying the top brass in his daddy’s bratva believed he’d do it. Ordinarily, rival groups would jump on a collapse like this cleaning up the stragglers – including Andrei himself, but thanks to a favor owed, I’m boiling iron in hopes of getting steel.

Andrei has guts, godly good looks, and proficiency in every weapon he’s ever touched. I should’ve realized he was also a sadist. If I don’t get the job done soon, I might just be in store for an unfortunate awakening.
