I am a 20-year-old unshifted werewolf.
One night, I find myself being chased by supernatural hunters. This is weird because I'm little more than a human since I haven’t transformed into my wolf form yet. However, after passing out cold from being chased, I find myself shifting, and that’s when I feel it, the pull of the soulmate bond. I’ve been dreaming of, hoping for, and anticipating it since I turned seventeen.
Following the thin thread of our bond, I found him.
A vampyre.
The enemy of the werewolf.
My soulmate.

I am a 319-year-old vampyre.
Hunters came one night, right before sundown, before I had fully awakened. They gave me something that paralyzed me, which kept me from fighting back when they dragged me into the forest and strung me up between two trees. There, they left me to fry when the sun came up. Only a strange, blue-furred wolf saved me before the sun could destroy me.
Why?
I don’t know, but Blue stuck around, and I’m beginning to enjoy her company. Perhaps too much for someone who doesn’t need a pet.
Then, I find out she’s a werewolf.
The enemy of the vampyre.
Charlotte claims I’m her soulmate… did I mention the werewolf is the enemy of the vampyre?
Yeah, this relationship isn’t happening.
Or is it?
Possible violence, blood, attempted rape.
