For the last six years of his life all Kyran has known is the front lines. Fighting and killing his enemies have turned him into a war hero and his voluntary service is almost up. On his last mission, his vacation before his retirement, Kyran is assigned as a body guard on a first contact ship full of scientist. An easy in and out job, or at least it was supposed to be.
After an accident leaves their main ship crippled, Kyran is forced to evacuate alone. Crashing thousands of miles away from the scientist he is supposed to protect this soldier has no way home and no allies. Surrounded on all sides by a lot of very big, very hungry beasts.
Saved by some of the biggest aliens Kyran has ever seen, he is suddenly faced with a new set of challenges. To convince these four hulking, stubborn, beautiful men that he is a soldier, that he is strong. That he is many things, but the one thing he is not, an Omega.
