Her Shotgun Rider: An Urban Romance by Wynta Tyme
Hennesi Bounds has only lived one way, in her soft girl era. With parents in politics and reach very far, she’s never wanted anything more. That was until one day her father arranges for her to marry a complete stranger because of his political connections. With some resistance, she does what she’s told, but her life goes from soft girl to charade girl. She hides the façade she’s been wearing in front of her students in the Illinois Prison System. Hennesi can only hide for so long until her reputation as an amazing teacher lands her right in the clutches of street legend Cokennis.

Cokennis “Coke” Barnes is known for his cutthroat ways, quick wit, and cleverness. He’s survived the drug game but at the expense of his cousin. Now his money is clean and laundered through many of his businesses, while he awaits to be released from prison in three months. As a kingpin, life is sweet, but to speed up his time, Coke decides to finish up his degree before he’s released. However, it’s distracting when the smell of Hennesi, her assertiveness, and kindness thaws the icebox around his heart.

An unlikely bond forms between the strangers, giving love a chance to blossom in them like it never has before. That’s only if Hennesi’s baggage doesn’t interrupt their growing love affair.
