Off Limits Bad Boy: A Second Chance Contemporary Romance
Asher Hall
Is he new in town?
And I've never seen anyone around here who looks like that. His amazing muscles and perfectly fitting Levi's are hard to miss.
If he had been here before, I would have noticed him for sure.
There's something about him that seems strangely familiar.
Maybe it's the shaggy dark hair peeking out from under his helmet, or perhaps it's the way he stands with such comfortable confidence.
Something deep inside tells me I know him.
I silently wished he would take off his helmet so I could see his face.
As if reading my mind, he reaches for the buckle.
My eyes are glued to his strong, tanned hands.
I can barely breathe.
“Are you ready for your 9:00 presentation?” my admin’s voice chirps from the door.
“Crap, I forgot. Stall for me, please; I'll be there in a minute.”
Frantically, I scramble to gather my notes and laptop. I glance back out the window, hoping for one last look at him.
But he's already gone.
