Escaping You

Charlie, a hot-headed and charismatic control freak, had his whole life carefully planned out, until a fateful night out with his two best friends lands them in deep trouble with the wrong people who are ready to make them pay. They are presented with two kidnap a girl for the criminals or get themselves and their whole families killed. The choice seems clear until they accidentally choose Ava, the former love of Charlie’s life, as their victim.

Ava, a sassy, too-strong-for-her-own-good girl constantly finds herself weathering a new storm. She’s never had it easy, but five years ago when the unimaginable happened, her whole world shattered, and she lost the only person she’s ever loved, Charlie, for what she hoped was for good. Now, he’s pulling her into his latest mess, and he has the nerve to ask her to go along with it. Even worse, going along with it may be the only way she can make it out alive.

With seven days to navigate their past grievances and a deadly band of criminals seeking revenge, the two must confront their shared history and work together to survive.
