Limeria of the Savage Lands 2: Queen of the Beastmen

Limeria, warrior princess of lost Thera, embarks upon a journey from the city of swamps to the depths of ancient secrets within the Forest of Giants.
Her journey begins in Vaneera, the sweltering city of swamps, where the Red River meets the River Dur. The mistress of the great House of Hess has lost her husband to an ill-advised expedition into the heart of the Forest of Giants. She wants Limeria to rescue her husband or at least retrieve the key that serves as a badge of rank within the merchant council. The expedition is perilious, deep into the Forest of Giants, but by navigating rivers, the travel within the dangerous jungle on foot will be limited.

That will not stop river pirates, a giant river serpent, Jeanna, a big, busty ship's captain out of Limeria's past, and the fat crime lord himself, Bargol, from vexing Limeria during the journey. She will face tests at every bend in the river and that is before the warrior princess even steps off the decks of The Restless Nymph. Within the jungle itself she will find a lost city of an ancient people from before the fall of Borea. Giant temples now tumbled to ruins and swallowed up by the jungle. Within those crumbling halls, a mysterious sorceress fancies herself a queen, and has employed sinister magic to forge the beginnings of an army.
