Mikayla Morelli is a wife and mother. Two roles she never invisioned, but always assumed she would embrace. Unfortunately, she is struggling. Her decision to be a stay at home mom to her son, Giancarlo, along with her unexpected weight gain is proving to be a challenge. Her confidence is dwindling and causing unnecessary tension between her and her husband Carmine.
Carmine Morelli loves his wife and children. He finally has the life he always dreamed of. However, over the past few months things have become a little tense between Carmine and Mikayla. Carmine isn’t sure how to help Mikayla regain the beautiful smile and confident demeanor she once had. He’s willing to try anything, if only she would open up to him.
Grace Harper has been co-parenting with Carmine for years. In that time they had never doubled back. Carmine was nothing more than Gianna's father. An accident has emotions high and causes Grace to experience feelings she thought she had suppressed.
Mikayla secretly witnesses the unexpected interaction between Carmine and Grace. Instead of coming clean, they decide to keep the incident to themselves. Unfortunately, this allows Mikayla to create her own version of the events.
