An 18th century English boy is kidnapped during a brazen attack by pirates off the coast of the Carolinas and he believes that his future has gone up in flames like one of the ships that the fearsome crew of miscreants prey upon. What he doesn't see is that his life is just beginning and the harsh existence on a pirate ship forges the boy into a man of immense strength and formidable skill. Years later, the young man is brought together with a beautiful Spanish princess in the most violent of circumstances. The two young lovers make a daring escape from the seafaring life and live to have many adventures as they begin a life together in the new country known as America.
