I thought being hauled through the portal by scaled beasts was the end of me, but then a glowing demon ate them. Surrounded by barren wasteland, the only glimpse of survival was with the creature that had inadvertently saved me—so I followed him.

The nine-foot demon with bulging gray muscles and blue glowing runes clearly didn’t understand humans or personal space. Especially when his tail constantly wrapped around my ankle. He should have frightened me, but his possessive nature only served to draw me toward him, and I didn’t want to fight my attraction.
