Anna didn’t realize she was searching for a reason to live until she found what she was looking for … four of them.

No one on the Ark was ready for the new home the Faccarah had found for them--because the new home wasn’t ‘move in’ ready. They were poised to rebel even before they got their first look at it.

Except Anna. She desperately needed to escape the nightmare life she’d had and she didn’t care how. She thought she didn’t at any rate. That was why she volunteered to be among the first to go down to begin building their new world.

The one thing she was utterly, positively, convinced of, though, was that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with any man. She was done with that.
