Amongst them, is a human waitress, Miranda, who Asher instantly recognizes as his mate. Miranda feels a strong connection towards Asher, but doesn't understand why. Now Miranda must find a way to escape Asher, and his world of strange creatures, where everything she thought she knew and believed is proven to be a lie. And little does Miranda know, her will won't be enough to overpower the desire of her heart, which now seem to beat only for Asher.
