Murder on the Mountain by Jamie Fessenden
When aspiring mystery writer Jesse Morales volunteers to work on the summit of Mt. Washington for a week, he expects to work hard. What he doesn't expect is to stumble across a corpse in the fog, lying among the rocks, head crushed in.

The last thing detective Kyle Dubois needs is an armchair detective inserting himself into a murder investigation. He has to admit Jesse is keenly observant, not to mention scorching hot. But when Jesse infiltrates the victim's circle of family and friends, he goes too far. Soon he's learning things that could very well solve the case—or get him killed.

Jesse is the first person Kyle's let in since his wife passed. He's not about to let some psychopath take away his best chance at love. But the killer is catching on, and Jesse is taking more and more chances.

Another death is looming and Kyle doesn't have much time...
