Christmas Day is fast approaching and while those around her are basking in the spirit of the holidays, Billie Munroe has never dreaded the magical season more. The twenty-fifth day of December evokes memories she’d much rather erase, as well as a longing for a past love that was never meant to be. Or was it?

For the last three years, Marcel Wortham has lived his life in turmoil. Without Billie by his side, his days have been gloomy, only brightened by the lovely faces of his children. For them, he pushes through the pain and does all he can to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship with their mother. An unexpected invite to join Billie’s family for their bi-annual holiday vacation presents Marcel with an opportunity to finally right his wrongs.

With the spirit of Christmas working behind the scenes, Billie and Marcel are thrown into a situation that forces them to confront their heartbreaking past. What happens when flight cancellations, inclement weather, and a plethora of other unforeseen events result in the former lovers being trapped and alone in a luxury cabin in the mountains of Tennessee?
