Widow's Distraction

Anya's husband suffers a fatal heart attack, and her first thoughts aren't at all what she expected.

Their marriage died long before he did, and she harbored forbidden cravings for her much younger neighbor Cody. She loves the smitten, wide eyed way he looks at her, like he would worship the ground she walked on if she simply batted her eyes. She misses feeling desired, longing for a return to the possibilities of love offered by youth.

Cody attends the funeral, with the beautiful Anya clinging to him throughout the service. She drives him home, and invites herself inside. The new widow is grief stricken and in need, seeing him as the perfect distraction while she processes her loss.
