Love in Stereo by Lona Edwins
Riley Carter attends what she expects to be a rock gig but instead finds herself in a quiet concert hall for a classical piano performance. Initially unimpressed, she’s caught off guard when the pianist, Nathaniel Whitmore, plays with such skill that she can’t help but listen. After the performance, Riley’s sarcastic remark about the music leads to a tense exchange with Nate, but the situation lightens when Nate’s golden retriever, Jethro, interrupts. Their banter hints at a growing friction, with Riley unimpressed by Nate's classical music and Nate dismissing Riley’s rock preferences as chaotic.

As they part ways, Riley is resolute in her opinion, but a surprising connection begins to form, subtly altered by the odd moments of shared humor and a mutual challenge. Despite her disinterest in the music scene Nate represents, Riley begins to feel a tension that hints their relationship could evolve beyond disagreement, suggesting future clashes and unlikely understanding.
