Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but when a grumpy, bossy FBI agent storms into my office, throws me over his shoulder, and carries me out—ignoring my very reasonable protests—I think I’m allowed to be a little salty.



Lennox Crawford is a force of nature, all growls and heavy stares, and he doesn’t take no for an answer. He claimed he was saving me. That my boss was bad news and I needed to be out of there before things went south.



I don’t buy it. But that doesn’t stop him from showing up, again and again, determined to win me over.



I tell him no. I push him away. But the more he fights for me, the harder it gets to resist the man who swears I’m his.

The moment I walk into Willow Sumner’s office, I know. She’s mine. She just doesn’t know it yet.



I don’t have time to explain why she needs to leave. She won’t listen anyway. So I do what any sane man would—I toss her over my shoulder and get her the hell out. She fights me every step of the way, kicking, screaming, and pinching like a wildcat while my team laughs their asses off.



I should let her go now that she’s safe.



But she’s in my blood now. In my bones. And I don’t give up on what’s mine.



Willow can fight me all she wants. She can push me away, make me work for it.



But one way or another, she’s gonna be mine.
