Salvation by Shonna Preston
Amelia Reid made a horrible mistake. Having discovered that the man she found herself so desperately attracted to--even in the face of having found a man she loved--was a demon, she dealt with him in the only way that made sense. With an exorcism ritual, she found on the internet, she attempts to rid herself of the incubus. Things don't go as planned, and the city around her begins to shake apart. She and her friends barely make it out of the city with their lives, and as their car hits a ditch, going airborne, her last thought is how she won't be making it back to Josh.

Waking up, dangling from her seatbelt, Amelia gets her friends to safety before dreading that the incubus will make good on his promise to return for her while they are still with her. When she finds a pair of strangers she can only see while touching a dagger someone threw at her; she doubts their claims of being angels.

The angels inform her that it is up to her, as she gave him the power to do so, to shut the gate and send the incubus back to Hell, or Armageddon will begin. To close the gate, she must not only travel to the location but make it through a series of trials to get to the portal. Along the way, she must traverse the city filled with gangs of raiders driving the streets, escape being used as an offering to the demon prince Asmodeus, and learn to trust an angel, named Gabriel, who's a little too familiar and a little too attractive to her.

When she and Gabriel arrive at the caves in which the gate is found, she must get through a gauntlet of sin-spelled areas meant to keep humans away. Will she make it through the caves without giving in to her pride, gluttony, envy, or greed? Or will she and Gabriel succumb to the lust they both feel and lose sight of the mission completely?
