In the uncertain times of the 17th century Annie Glover and Garreth Primm are fleeing on the board of a ship from Boston to Ireland from the charges of witchcraft, to find Annie’s family. On their journey they are facing dangers, assaults, and the seducing attempts of a pansexual captain.
In Ireland, instead of a safe haven, they find more challenges, including Rob Boyle, who bring jealousy and misunderstandings into their nascent relationship.
But, none of these events are real. In reality, Annie lives in London as a maid, while Garreth lives in the New World. They only meet in their dreams. Garreth is resolute to find Annie so he grabs the chance in the shape of a womanizer merchant who takes him to Ireland as his valet, hoping that he could find Annie there.
Living in two lives, will they be able to conquer all hardships and doubts and find each other before the Realm casts them out of itself?
Where does hope end?
