Merry Quizmas: A holiday romantic comedy novella

It’s the end of a bad year for Gemma. Dumped by her boyfriend and out of a job, she’s dreading returning to her small country town for the holidays and her super-competitive family who turn every Christmas tradition into a game.

Jonathan may have been given the world on a silver platter but facing another Christmas alone and bored, he offers to help Gemma take the sting out of the holidays and pose as her boyfriend to help compete at the town’s annual Christmas pub quiz.

As Jonathan sweeps the board, Gemma’s family fall for him, but knowing he’s only there as a favour to her, Gemma fears their ruse has no future while Jonathan is rolling the dice that he can win her over. But as the holiday festivities veer out of control, will their game of charades be found out by her family before they realise their true feelings?
