To India with Mr. Darcy: A Pride & Prejudice Variation
Victoria Wellingham

When Elizabeth Bennet and her sister Jane are invited to sail to India with their aunt and uncle, the Gardiners, Elizabeth envisions no finer adventure. The Bellvue proves a most majestic vessel, the voyage is full of promise, and the company—at first glance—is quite agreeable.
Mr. Bingley quickly catches Jane’s eye, while his friend, Mr. Darcy, is another matter entirely. Reserved, proud, and dreadfully serious, he is hardly the type to charm. Yet as storms rage, tempers flare, and unexpected illness draws them closer, Elizabeth begins to see another side of Mr. Darcy—one far more appealing than she first supposed.
But once they reach India, everything changes. Mr. Darcy is distant, cold, and entirely unlike the man she came to know at sea. Heartbroken, Elizabeth vows to forget him.
Until the return voyage reunites them—and with it, a new Mr. Bingley begins to pull away from Jane, raising old suspicions.
Is Darcy once again meddling where he ought not? Or is there still something of the man she came to care for beneath that silent reserve?
One journey changed her heart. Could the next mend it?
To India with Mr Darcy is a standalone Pride & Prejudice variation with murder mystery, sweet and clean romance, unexpected twists and a HEA.
