Thirtyacre by AJ Estelliam
Detective Thirtyacre
When Officer Emmy Moon joins the team at South Descent Police Department, Detective Eve Thirtyacre is unimpressed. Given the task of babysitting Moon is frustrating, because Eve has a case to solve-one which is causing her a constant headache.
Eve is thrown by the interesting, unique woman who waltzes into her world, along with her service dog Bailey, who supports her with a medical condition. Eve discovers that Emmy suffers from postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome-a disability which makes her faint and lose consciousness unexpectedly. When she wakes, Emmy is often incoherent and saying things which are incredibly insightful and significant. Eve does not understand this, and it makes her angry, resenting Emmy’s presence and the complications it brings her and the case.
As a killer continues to devastate the surrounding area of South Descent, Eve finds herself drawn even deeper into the web of a crazed killer’s mind. As her own world is rocked by the evil encroaching and infiltrating her life, Emmy’s observations become increasingly accurate and strangely prophetic in nature. Confused, Eve enlists Emmy’s help and quickly finds out that Emmy knows more about the crimes than she should do. Is Emmy involved somehow or is there more to it than that? Find out in…Detective Thirtyacre.
