Lexi's New Year's resolutions are off to a bad start. All she wants is to put herself first and say no. No to extra work. No to leading meetings she knows nothing about. And no to new projects she definitely doesn't have the time for. The only yes she wants to say is to her best friend, Rafa.

Rafa's not off to a great start either. After six years of living in Whisper Creek, the grumpy, rejected wolf is ready to say yes more often. Yes to making new friends. Yes to getting involved in the community. And yes to his human best friend that he can't stop thinking about. So, what happens when the two friends "volunteer" to decorate for The Lady of the Lake festival? Will sparks fly?
