Syndicate
Jodi Morrell
I’m not a pick me, I promise. I’m just a little different to a normal sixteen-year-old. Professionally speaking. In that I already have a job, and my future mapped out. I have since my father died a few months ago and I took over running his gang, the biggest and most successful crime syndicate in the country. My father trained me, his guys support me, and now one of my normal sixteen-year-old girl dreams has come to fruition.
I won a scholarship to attend Shirewilt Prepatory Boarding School. It’s the most exclusive high school in the entire country. The connections this schooling will give me will set not only myself up for lie, but my guys and the syndicate as well.
But it means I have to pretend to be a normal girl and not the head of a massive crime syndicate. And it means I have to respond to bullying at school in a normal way.
Which means resisting almost every instinct I have. Well, trying to anyway.
