Joint Crop

I am recently moved to Poplar Hill, West Virginia in 1850 with my wife Livy. We have a hog farm, and are trying to have our first child. The medical scientists of the day are telling us to avoid intercourse as much as possible, lest the vagina develop a vapor that can give my penis gonorrhea. They advise monthly intercourse.

Monthly sex with my wife is not enough, and I have been surprised by my attraction to the two former sailors homesteading the farm next to us in a Joint Crop. Furthermore, a new preacher, Harry Bluff, has arrived in town, and we are housing him until the parsonage can be rebuilt. He admits his attraction to both Livy and me, and we are enthralled.
