The Vampire and The Werewolf: Evan the Vampire Series
John Green

Let me tell you about the second book in the Evan the Vampire series, it's called *The Vampire and the Werewolf*. It picks up five years after the first book, *Evan the Vampire*, and honestly, it’s just as exciting!
This book also keeps up the adventure of Evan and Preston from the first book, so it’s a wild ride from start to finish!
So, here’s the after Preston loses a close friend, strange things start happening around town. People are getting bitten on the neck by something or someone. Some are even being killed and drained of their blood. Creepy, right?
Evan knows that if Preston and Max are involved, they’re doing their best to hide it. Usually, if they feed on someone, they are supposed to heal the bite and make sure the victims forget everything. That’s their way of preventing panic and to keep anyone from finding out about them. Logic suggests there might be another vampire lurking around, one that’s not part of their crew. But now, rumors are spreading about a rogue vampire that might reveal all the secrets of the supernatural world to humanity. If the vampire council finds out, someone’s going to have to answer for it.
Max didn’t realize what he was signing up for when joined a self defense class. There he met and fell head over heels for a beautiful girl, and also for her pretty handsome brother. But he sensed there is something different about them. It wasn’t until he found out they were werewolves that everything clicked. This story continues the exciting adventures of Evan and Preston, building on what you already loved in *Evan the Vampire*.
