Giving Him the Soft Touch He Needs by Becca Vale
Calling my older brother a sadist doesn’t even come close to describing the horrors he put me through when we were children. At least until I finally grew bigger than him, made myself stronger… and then got the fuck away by enlisting in the military.

The day I left, I cut him out of my life and never looked back.

But then he had a son, and I let myself believe he’d changed. That he wasn’t terrorizing Rory, too.

I love my nephew more than life, but I’ve been active duty and stationed overseas since before he was born, so I haven’t been there for him. But worse, I didn’t even realize I needed to be. Not until I finally retire and rejoin the civilian world and the sweet boy, eighteen now and finally able to get out from under his father’s control, makes his way to my front door in the middle of the night.

Battered. Bruised. Scared.

Needing a soft touch to heal from the hard ones he grew up with.

A soft touch I plan on giving him, each and every day, until he finally accepts that he deserves it. That it’s okay to feel good. And that anything that makes him feel good is good in my house.

Because my house, my rules.

No matter how wrong loving him the way I do would be considered out in the rest of the world.
