The Christmas Vow: Falling For The Rescued Soldier by Heaven Lee

I rescue wildlife for a living - raccoons, owls, the occasional drama-queen goose, but nothing in my training prepared me for Oscar Mesa showing up on my porch with a broken leg and a reindeer.
Yes.
A reindeer.
Apparently, it “saved his life.”
Now I’m stuck playing nurse to the brooding Air Force veteran who used to star in every one of my college crush daydreams. He’s grumpy, gorgeous, and insists on helping with chores even though he can barely stand. And the worst part? He keeps looking at me like I’m the reason he came home.

Crashing in Alaska was easy compared to this.
I came back to Cedar Falls to heal, not to lose my mind over my sister’s best friend - the girl I’ve secretly liked since we were kids and the one I was too dumb to chase back then.
Now she’s all grown up, still impossible, still sunshine in human form, and still completely unaware that she’s the reason I never stayed gone for long.
She rescues animals. I’m starting to think she’s rescuing me, too.

I’ve fought to survive my whole life.
This Christmas, I’m fighting to stay.

A runaway reindeer. A small town full of meddlers. One holiday and one chance at forever.
