Mary Stoltzfus will miss having the Christmas holidays at home, but they were ruined for her already anyway. She could not bear to watch the boy she loves court another, and so is quite willing to go help her widowed Aunt Clara at her store in Millersburg for the Christmas season. Looking for a distraction, Mary throws herself into stocking shelves and leading the children’s Christmas program.
