I’m Jude a warlock with a problem that looks a lot like trouble. Darkwater City runs on rules and hunger, and the Hunger Pact wants a “vessel.” Apparently I’m the main course.
To live, I need leverage. That starts with breaking an ancient covenant, dodging a pack that wants revenge, and cutting a back-room deal with Malachai Voss, the city’s favorite broker of bad ideas. It gets messier when a fae prince in iron cuffs looks me in the eye like he already knows my name... and the way I kiss.
Now the city’s factions are circling, the networks are buzzing about my “alpha problem,” and my curse is purring for more trouble. I don’t kneel. I don’t beg. I make monsters use their words.
