The Christmas Party by AJ Estelliam
Sasha Anderson has been temping at a new office for a month, working hard and settling in well. But there’s one thing she’s looking forward to more than anything-the Christmas party. Not for the drinks or the dancing, but for the chance to be near the woman she can’t stop thinking about; her boss, Quinn Marlow.
Quinn is not known for being approachable. Most people in the office fear her sharp tongue, icy stare, and no-nonsense attitude. She’s a force of nature-fierce, intimidating, and perpetually annoyed. But none of that stops Sasha from being utterly captivated by her-even if Quinn barely knows she exists.
Everything changes on the night of the Christmas party. By accident, Sasha stumbles into Quinn’s personal world at just the wrong moment. After a heated argument with her fiancée, Quinn is upset, and Sasha offers comfort she never planned to give. One impulsive moment turns into a night of passion which neither woman is free to indulge in…and one they both may regret.
When morning comes and reality settles in, Sasha and Quinn must face the consequences of their choices. As they cross paths again, tension simmering between them, they each have to will they return to their safe, unhappy routines, or take a chance on something real?
