Broad Street Gym: Set 1 by Roxy Blake
Owned by former firefighter Hawthorn Gallagher, Broad Street Gym is a utilitarian space in an old warehouse. Over a decade ago, when it opened, Broad Street Gym was pretty gritty. Now, it’s iconic. You want to be serious about fitness? Broad Street is the place. Head down, eyes forward, do the work.

There’s a ring, for sparring, and some heavy bags and speed bags, for practice, or for pounding out a rough day, if that’s your thing. Lots of racks, lots of plates, and plenty of pull-up bars. Some climbing ropes. Rowers, but no treadmills. If you want to run, you take it outside.

Paramedic firefighter Mark Cavanaugh is a serious gym rat who's trying to make peace with God. Tattoo artist Cruz Delgado and Detective Carlos Martinez are at Broad Street every bit as much as Mark, but they're both far more settled with their faith. When Thorn’s daughter, Willow, is unexpectedly laid-off, she returns home after being away for almost a decade. Willow, and Cruz’s close friend Krista Marks, find peace in yoga, and in prayer.

Meet Willow, Mark, Carlos, Krista, and Cruz, and discover how their lives intersect in Broad Street Set 1, the first book in Roxy’s new series, Broad Street Gym. There’s a little spice, some tears, some intrigue, a few twists, a lot of joy, and a lot of guidance from God.

I prayed often about this one, and hope my angels and I crafted a book that feels real.

xoxo Roxy
