Katherine Snow’s Very Bad Day begins in a stalled elevator and ends with a tragic wardrobe malfunction. Both rescues require aid from her rival-turned-business-partner Alan Hart. After an accident ended his professional baseball career, the Golden Boy returned home and convinced Kay to join him in a sports advertising firm. His contribution is charm and open doors while the key to her success has always been solid, steady, mostly unsexy, but totally reliable performance. Now she wants more.

When Alan lands them the opportunity of a lifetime to pitch a marketing plan for a major league account, they have to work together. After a successful pitch and a close encounter with an old flame, they head home to Austin, but the storm of a lifetime strands them in very close quarters.
