The Heart is a Stringed Instrument by Jenny Urban
Decidedly single but far from celibate, professional cellist Brandon is laid back, easy going, and feels just as comfortable in a dance club as he does a concert hall. He’s never had a problem keeping work and play separate until he meets Mark at a club one night and then watches him cross the stage the next day to be introduced as their new guest conductor.

Brandon isn’t one to go back for a repeat, despite Mark’s carnal talents, but he can only run into Mark clubbing so many times before it happens again. Soon they’re clubbing together, or staying in to play, and Brandon slowly realizes that he prefers being with Mark to the meaningless sex in clubs that he’s always enjoyed. He can’t imagine being with anyone else.

Unfortunately Mark is only in town until the concert season ends.
