This scarred man is Erik Bowden, burnt so badly, no amount of reconstructive surgery was able to return his face to anything resembling normal. Since his accident Erik has hidden himself from the world, living the life of recluse, so the last thing he wants is to find a beautiful but terrified woman on his doorstep who thinks he’s a monster.
Demeana soon learns that not all her powers are gone, and the one she’s left with, is destined to cause her and Erik all kinds of problems.

You do not need to have read Lord of My Dreams to enjoy Demeana and Erik’s story. It is a standalone novel in its own right.
