Maggie's life is on the upswing. Her relationship with her handsome cop boyfriend, Sam Villari, is heating up and shows no signs of slowing down. After taking a year-long sabbatical from teaching to work on her sculptures, she is finally having a showing at The Outlook. Although she was supposed to be mingling, she takes collector, Hank Duran, into the back studio where they stumble across a dead body. The showing is closed down and Maggie is back to her second job of amateur sleuthing, this time with her best friend, Lisa, and the down-to-earth, Duran...a memorable investigative team that works hard to find out the identity of the killer while tripping over their own two feet.
