Hot Property by Sherryl Woods
Molly DeWitt is a single mother with a son who has moved from Miami to the wealthier enclave of Key Biscayne. Rather than the peace and quiet Molly had hoped for, she finds herself in the middle of a murder scene when she finds a dead body in the card-room of her new apartment complex. From all appearances, it looks like the person who knifed the condo president in the back is none other than Molly herself! Molly works with Michael O'Hara (with whom there is plenty of sexual tension in these books) to help solve the case and get her out of trouble and solve the crime. In the process however, Molly soon finds herself giving over her heart to Michael O'Hara.
