A Man After Midnight by Bethany M. Sefchick
Ghosts, Inc. – where the paranormal is normal…

Pearl Mystique, whose real name is Hope Tanner, spends her days – and nights – hiding in the shadows of the streets of Wheeling, West Virginia. That is until a mysterious “A. McKnight” sends her a letter informing her that her secret has been uncovered – she’s a real psychic, not the fake she pretends to be. He also informs her that she is being hunted by a group determined to use her abilities for their own gain. To complicate matters further, A. McKnight’s letter also indicates that she’s been given a Greek name – Andromeda – and is listed in some kind of odd book known simply as “The Artemis Book,” even though Hope has no idea what that means.

Martin Scott is a junior investigator with Ghosts Inc, busy helping fellow investigator Josh Winston research the troubling Artemis Book. Martin receives a letter similar to Hope’s, only his indicates that he is Perseus, the man destined to save Andromeda from certain death. Now that he and his friends have a real lead on the purpose of the confusing and potentially dangerous book, Martin wants nothing more than to remain in Altoona and continue his research. However, legend dictates that he must make his way to Wheeling to find Hope and save her – just as the real Perseus did for Andromeda so long ago. Will he be able to find Hope before the bounty hunters do and will they be able to make a love match like their famous namesakes?
