Morris and Luke are neighbors, best friends and practically made for each other. Only Luke is a cynic who doesn't believe in romance, love and happily-ever-afters, while Morris has gone on a quest for that kind of true love that is only found in fairy tales. Morris wants Luke, but he knows that Luke can't give him what he wants so he tries to find love elsewhere. Luke, who laughed at Morris' plans before, doesn't find them quite so entertaining now Morris is serious about another guy and has some soul-searching to do.
