The Master's Plan
LaVerne St. George

For Caralyn Masters, an accident leaves lingering effects — she grieves for her sister and automobiles give her the literal shakes. She focuses on her job as a university librarian and on creating a charitable fund to support closed-head trauma research, but money is tight. While hiking in the Ozarks, she shares a trail shelter with a wet and weary hiker. He’s charming. She’s attracted. Things are looking up.
Jason Montague counts his blessings. His unplanned hike ended in the company of an experienced hiker. He’s captivated by Cara, but as the Doncaster Foundation’s chairman, he holds the future of her charity in his hands. When he’s forced to reveal his epilepsy, his hope for a personal relationship vanishes. Back at Doncaster’s Midwest office, Jason discovers missing money, a missing employee, and negative media spin. Things are not looking good.
Distance of faith and geography are only the first two things keeping Caralyn and Jason apart. Perhaps there is a higher plan that can bring them together.
