To her chagrin, her eyes began to water and Niie blinked hard, hoping he couldn't see it in the moonlight. As she opened them she felt the soft press of his lips on hers. His lips were warm and soft and dry, and at their touch something inside Niie broke free.
She pressed her mouth urgently against his, dropping to her knees and winding her hands around his neck, no longer caring about plans, risk, or propriety.
