Riveted: For Love of a Soldier

“Are you sure?” He asked another quick kiss and then a pause, looking into her eyes.
“Yes, I am absolutely sure.”
“I’m here, for you, Ava. Don’t expect me to disappear after this. I want you. I want you to be mine.”
She gulped and nodded. She wasn’t sure what he meant by that but it didn’t change a thing. She wanted this, wanted him and she would have him. She would have everything she wanted for once in her life. No more sharing. No more fighting and scraping to get what she needed. She was going to take exactly what she desired.

“It doesn’t matter, Angelo. All I want is tonight. We can worry about tomorrow when the sun comes up.”
